There wasn't a 29th in February, so this is as close as we could get. Does that mean you don't have to turn 5 months old? That would be fine with me...time is going by so fast.
Firsts: spending the night with Mimi and Paw Paw, trying all the first foods- you like them all, actually liking rice cereal, playing in your exersaucer, sitting in your highchair
News Headlines: the oak trees at Toomer's Corner were poisoned :(, violent revolutions happening in Egypt, strong earthquake hits New Zealand
Milestones: Well, you seem to be able to roll over from your belly to back much easier now, and you are SO close to rolling from your back to your belly. You get your body halfway over but can't quite get the top half of you to cooperate. You are also doing great eating with a spoon. We do a couple tablespoons of cereal mixed with fruit around mid-morning, and a couple tablespoons of cereal with a veggie around 5:00 or so. No one really told us how much and when to give you food, so mommy is just figuring it out on her own! You are still taking several bottles a day, but it is a struggle to get you to drink more than 4-5 ounces.
Measurements: We haven't been to the doctor in a month, but I'm guessing you are around 15 pounds and 27 inches long. You wear size 2 diapers and 3-6 month clothes, sometimes bigger- you are so long!
Other Info.:
- You are loving to sit up on our laps, no more laying down unless you are eating or sleepy.
- Naps have become better- you nap in your car seat pretty well
- You have almost found your feet. You see them but can't quite figure out how to get them.
- Your giggle is the highlight of my day!
- You hum while you eat your cereal. Granna says that I used to do that when I was little...
- You aren't quite sitting up by yourself yet, but boy are you trying!
New pictures this month:
